Terry cloth robes are thick, heavy and take forever to dry. Modal is different. It's made from beechwood, weighs a fraction of terry cloth and releases moisture instead of soaking it up. The result is a robe that feels light and airy against your skin while still keeping you warm. What makes Melowe's fabric different from regular cotton?

Cotton is breathable but soaks up moisture and holds it against your skin, leaving you damp and cold. Our modal-cotton blend works differently. The modal releases moisture instead of trapping it, keeping your skin dry and comfortable whether you wear it after a shower or throughout the morning.

Will the robe keep its shape and softness over time?

Yes. Modal is naturally more resistant to pilling and shrinking than cotton. Our customers regularly tell us the robe feels just as soft after dozens of washes as it did on day one. Machine wash at 30°C and air dry, that's all it needs.

Is the fabric suitable for sensitive skin?
